My name is Rosalía Piñeiro Monteagudo and I was

born in Galicia, Spain in 1993. I'm from

the beautiful Santiago de Compostela.

I moved to Barcelona when I was 18 to study Insdustrial Design. I studied my Bachelor (Engineering in Industrial Design and Product Development) and had my first work expecience in Barcelona where I enjoyed and learned a lot. I lived there for four years, except one semester, wich I spent in Lahti, Finland on a ERASMUS experience.

From October 2015 to April 2017 I moved to Vigo. Where I conected with the Automotive Industry in the academic and profesional fields. I studied an Automotive Engineer Master and worked in Faurecia Automotive Seating JIT Plant as a Excellence System (Continuous Improvement and Productivity) technician. 

Aterwards, I expent a couple of months traveling around South America. I love travelling and discovering new places.

From July 2017 untill January 2019 I was based in Portugal working for Faurecia Clean Mobility as FES&Productivity Specialist.

I spent January 2019 travelling around southeast Asia and now I am back in Santiago for the next challenge.

This spring I start working in the furniture industry, in the technical department of Martínez Otero. At the same time I am starting a Retail Design Master's.

I am a graduate in Industrial Design Engineering &

Product Developement by the Politechnic University

of Catalonia.

I also studied a master in Automotive

Engineering in the University of Vigo and I am currently studing another Master in Retail Design (ESDesign).

 

As long as you're here, I'd like to share something with you.

 

 

  Mi nombre es Rosalía Piñeiro Monteagudo y nací en Galicia hace  veinticinco años. Soy santiaguesa, y viví y estudié en Santiago hasta los 18.

Después pasé viviendo en Barcelona cuatro años, donde estudié en la Universidad y tuve mi primer trabajo, aprendí y disfruté muchísimo.

Soy graduada en Ingeniería en Diseño Industrial y Desarrollo del Producto por la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Y también disfruté la oportunidad de pasar un cuatrimestre de intercambio en LUAS, Lahti, Finlandia, estudiando presentación de producto.

Cuando acabé la carrera me mudé a Vigo, más cerca de casa, donde conecté con el mundo de la automoción académica y  profesionalmente. Estuve trabajando como técnico en Mejora Continua y Productividad en Faurecia Seating (JIT) hasta Abril del 2017 y tengo un Máster en Ingeniería de Automoción por la Universidad de Vigo.

Me encanta viajar y conocer nuevos lugares, y los próximos meses los pasé viajando por Sudamérica. Antes de irme a vivir a Portugal, donde viví y trabajé de nuevo en automoción como especialista en Productividad y Mejora Continua desde Julio de 2017 hasta el final del año 2018 en Faurecia Clean Mobility.

Este año 2019 lo comencé con un mes de viaje por el Sudeste asiático y ahora estoy de vuelta en Santiago. Con la primavera comienzo mi próximo reto en la Industria del mueble. Trabajando para Martínez Otero en su departamento técnico y haciendo un Máster de Diseño de espacios comerciales en simultáneo.
